At Unique Coffee we take pride in the selection of our coffees. We actively take part in the selection of the finest hand picked green coffees. We grade our coffee on a scale when it is received for quality approval and cupping.

The coffee that we buy comes from all over the world. Coffee is grown in 5 continentents in many remote, secluded places. The factors that make coffee great is growing them at a high altitude between 1200-2000 meters, they need to be grown in nutrient rich soil, good rainfall, perfect sun  exposure, and temperature. If you follow a line around the equator you will find that the countries you come accross are the finest coffee producing countries.These natural factors are uncontrollable, which is  why coffee is so difficult to maintain consistency. Many of the farms struggle from financial difficulties,  and they lack technilogical advances, which take a toll on their quality controls.

We make every effort to purchase coffee from the same harvests, and the same farm everytime we
purchase coffee. We buy our coffee in lots to guarantee this consistency.
